survival advice...
Grab the life that spins around you.
Shake the drops out of each day.
Taste each moment; look with wide eyes.
Life is short. We’re only clay.
Plant your feet upon the planet
dizzy with the dancing sun.
Feel the strength of its deep rhythm.
Feel its music in your bones.
Drink your joy up with your sorrow
until the juice runs down your chin.
Don’t leave today’s fruit for tomorrow.
Living life is worth the pain.
And when you need to lie down, look up.
Rest and while your body sleeps
let your mind go with the clouds
who know the secrets the earth keeps.
Life’s current is so unforgiving
you cannot grasp one little breath.
But even as you’re swept into it
your very drowning cheats your death.
